Delightful Time To Go - Sold

Mitzy is a 20 year old registered TWHBEA mare - Delightful Time To Go #20210561. She is a small but mighty mare who stands at 14.1 hands. We originally bought her to breed a few years ago, but due to neglect and malnutrition in her past, she ended up no longer being fertile. She is broke to ride, so when we've needed an extra mount, I pull her out. Even though it didn't happen often in the past, she was a wonderful, calm girl each time - happy to move down the trail with no buck, hop, rear, kick, or spook in sight. For the last couple of years, Mitzy has just hung out in her paddock, but I'm changing that because she's such a fun ride. I will happily enjoy this energetic girl until we find her perfect home. She will lead or follow on the trail, and with the lightest of encouragement she gaits beautifully down the trail. We've taken her through a tunnel, water, and deadfall. Mitzy is an amazing and fun trail girl with more go than whoa.

Mitzy would do well with her very own special human to connect and bond with. Due to abuse in her past, she requires a calm confident handler on the ground. There's not a mean bone in her body, but she is very watchful and can occasionally spook at unexpected things. While under saddle, she stands super nice for grooming, saddling, and mounting. She seems to ground tie under saddle. She loves grooming and carrots, and her nickers for attention are a joy to hear. We've always had her barefoot, and she's never taken a lame step. Born May 7th 2022, Kyra is growing quickly. She is a very unique champagne tobiano filly with the roan gene. She is smart, friendly, and athletic with an amazing gait. While born with blue eyes, they are already deepening to the beautiful amber color champagnes are known for. With her sire a big solid 15.1 hands and her mother a solid 15.2 hands, we expect her to be in that range and she's well on her way. She's halter broke, leads, and is nice for our hoof trimmer. Kyra appears to have inherited her mother's dominant personality and already pushes her older paddock mate when they play together. With her smart personality and smooth movement, Kyra will make someone a fantastic trail or show partner. She comes running for treats, moves away from pressure, and we're working on trailering.
